About Cassino

Cassino is a nice and safe place located in the middle of Italy, halfway between the beauty of the Italian National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, and the Mediterreanean shores.

Cassino roots its history in ancient villages which preceded the ancient Roman times. Romans establishing a fortified colony there in 312 BC. Being strategically located, it enjoys a rich history whose largest sign is probably the Abbey of Montecassino, first established by Saint Benedict around 529 AD, and rebuilt five times since then.

Cassino and the surrounding area is thus full of historical and natural beauties that just wait to be discovered.
